About
At Total Yard Care we want to provide you with more than just a lawn mowing service. We want to be your go-to for all your landscape maintenance needs. I have grown up here in the Treasure Valley and started mowing lawns for homeowners since 1996. I have learned a lot about the green industry and have developed my skills to produce a quality product the way it is supposed to be done. As much as I have learned throughout the years, I find myself learning more and more every year.

I have lived in Idaho since 1992, graduated from Vallivue High School in Caldwell, Idaho. I attended Boise State University and CWI. I married my wife, Michaela, in 2000 and now have six beautiful daughters. My love for being outdoors and that instant gratification of seeing someone's landscape done right, is what keeps me in love with yard care. I started mowing lawns with a friend as a sophomore in high school and now provide all aspects of keeping your landscape looking and growing great!
Our Vision
Our vision is to focus on a Total Yard Care approach. Most people don't want to pay several different companies to take care of their place. We strive to gain the knowledge and the skill to do all those services needed to maintain your landscape.

If we are onsite every week we can catch things before they become a major problem.
The Season

Tree pruning
February
Pruning trees can be done any time of the year if it's a light pruning. If your trees need heavy pruning, it is recommended to do so when the tree is dormant. Most trees go dormant once they drop their leaves in the fall. Then in the spring, when temperatures warm up, they will come out of dormancy when the buds start to push out the new leaves. Pruning will be done from the ground level, and will reach up 15 feet into the canopy. We like to do our tree pruning in February or early March.
